Jeremy Clarkson suspended, Top Gear canceled?

You can’t say “Top Gear” without bringing Jeremy Clarkson in the spotlight, considered by some, the most ‘aggressive’ TV show host out there. Jeremy has been around for a long, long time, being seen as a fixture on Top Gear since 1988, but it was following the BBC’s decision to relaunch the show in 2002, in a brash new format with Clarkson as the only presenter to survive the reboot, that he transformed himself into a worldwide star.

This time, our ‘star’ hasn’t proved such an impeccable behavior being reported to have hit Oisin Tymon, 36, after being told no dinner had been laid on for the presenters after they finished filming for the BBC2 show one evening last week.

You could be thinking ‘All this mess for a not served dinner?’ but let’s take a look at just a few of Clarkson’s past gaffes: July 2008: Drink-driving, October 2009: referring to black Muslim Lesbians, July 2014: he referred to an Asian person as a 'slope'. Therefore, after many incidents, Jeremy Clarkson doesn’t seem so innocent any more and the fact that the show has been canceled increases the possibility of his suspension, making it almost certain.

Even though Clarkson refused to give any declaration on the incident, his suspension remains a possibility since the BBC might not want to lose their profit, the matter will remain to be discussed with closed doors, all we can do is waiting for the official declaration which will determine if the show will keep going as normal or not.
